If you’re only interested in your preferred console, you’ll don’t have to dig through the bountiful deals we’ve uncovered. If you want to see what the big three are up to this year, we’ve made our predictions over on separate pages. Black Friday and Cyber Monday gaming deals: Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft There are plenty of stores to choose from, so if you’re after something in particular, there’s bound to be one out there with a tantalizing deal. Meanwhile, smaller titles like Cult of Lamb, Tunic, and Neon White have made lasting impressions on the whole gaming sphere. Just like every year, Black Friday and Cyber Monday is pretty much the best time to grab games you’ve missed throughout the year.Ģ022 has had some fantastic titles launch, with Pokemon Legends, Stray, Horizon: Forbidden West, and Elden Ring dominating our playtime. It's now one of my favorite games of all time, alongside GTA San Andreas, Resident Evil 4, Rainbow Six Siege, and Dead Rising 1.Whether you’re on console, PC, or on the go, gaming deals are coming for your wallet this year. Thanks to the mod, Sifu became an unintetional sequel to Sleeping Dogs.Īnyway, with it being on Steam now, and having lots of content to go through, I highly recommend it. I love Sleeping Dogs because it's the only GTA like game that takes place in South East Asia, and I love the combat system from it. For those who don't know, there's a mod on Nexus that imports Wei Shen, the protagonist of Sleeping Dogs, outfits and movesets into Sifu, and it's amazing. You can play it for 100+, and you would still learn new things from it.Īlso, funny enough, this is the closest we'll ever get to Sleeping Dogs 2. The game is extremely short, but it has one of the deepest and most engaging brawler combat system I've ever played. I did so many playthroughs of it that I had to take a break from it for a while. Seriously, Sifu can be beaten in around 1 hour if you know what you're doing, and yet I played up to 50 hours of it. It's because that if you know what you're doing, you can finish Sifu in 45 to 60 minutes, while souls like usually take more than 15 hours to beat. I then realized why I managed to push past Sifu's barrier, while giving up with souls like. But for some reason, I didn't get bored, I pushed myself past all of the challenges, and eventually, I couldn't put down the game for 2 weeks. When I first played it, I ran into the same problem I did with souls like, being that I had to go through a lot of frustrations of failing again and again. It's a very short game, and yet a also very demanding game. It's the main reason why I refuse to play Elden Ring even though it was 2022 GOTY, and that's because of my dislike of the souls like and open world games that take way too long to finish. They're all good games, but they're not for me, and that's why I never finished any of them. I've played a lot of souls like, such as the Dark Souls trilogy, Code Vein, The Surge 1 and 2, Jedi Fallen Order, etc, and the same thing always happen to me again and again. Not because they're so difficult that I can't get into them, but because the process in overcoming the difficulties is so frustrating for me that I have to do the same thing again and again just to achieve victory, causing me to get bored extremely fast. It's the biggest reason why I could never get into souls like. Because these games have a short runtime, the developers added a lot of depth into the gameplay system, making it so that one playthrough simply isn't enough to fully appreciate how deep and enjoyable the gameplay is. Some of my favorite games of all time are extremely replayable, like Dead Rising 1 and 2, and Resident Evil 4 and 5. To start, I love short and highly replayable games. So a bit of context about what I like and dislike in a lot of games, because it's necessary to understand why I love SIFU so much.
